Safe and Sound Soap Co.:
It’s never too early to shop for Christmas presents! Safe and Sound Soap Co. car fresheners and room sprays make excellent stocking stuffers, and our gift baskets and starter baskets come wrapped with a festive bow so you don’t even need to worry about getting a gift bag! Another great gift idea is our whipped body scrubs, now in our 10 ounce container and available in all your favorite scents! Don’t forget about our laundry booster, which is available in three refreshing scents, Honeysuckle Breeze, Clean Cotton, and Sea Breeze. Pair with one of our laundry soaps, or the laundry soap of your choosing to add a boost of freshness and deodorizing power to your laundry routine.

Quarter Spring Farm:
We is happy to be back on the market this week after an unexpected week away from you fine folks. We have our usual collection of amazing goat milk soaps. They are moisturizing and make your skin feel amazing, and the smells are great too. We have a seasonal soap available this week. Boozy Santa smells like peppermint and bourbon. We are fully stocked with pasture raised chicken. It’s better for your health and your taste buds than the alternative. We are also restocked on grass fed lamb, and have a limited amount of goat meat available.

NashPhilly:
Presenting a new baked pasta dish this week. Baked Beef Penne Pasta! A deliciously cheesy, saucy, meat and herb filled noodle dish. It is a take a bake pasta dish and will come fully assembled, all you will have to do is bake and enjoy!

And also presenting a new comfort dish this week as well. Shepherd’s Pie. Sirloin beef cooked with onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms cooked in a red wine reduction and Italian herbs. Layered with provolone cheese and Gruyère cheese, and finally topped off with truffled whipped potatoes.

Mt. Moriah Farms: Recently I have found myself listening to many motivational speeches on YouTube. I’m also reading a book on “Growing Your Small Business”. There are times that I think about how easy my life would be if I didn’t try to run a business. It’s hard in life to be sure what exactly the Lord would have us be doing. As Christians we are stewards of two things… TIME & MONEY. I definitely want to be where the Lord wants me to be. I get easily overwhelmed with everything that I have going on and that is why I have been listening to those speeches. I need a pick me up some days and that’s exactly what I’ve been getting. I also have been quoting the verse “ “From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”. Ps 61:2  I wanted to share this with y’all since I know we are fixing to enter to the busiest season of the year ??. Thank you for following along in our journey!

Martin's Farmstand:  Cauliflower Bounty

Yesterday ’s harvest of cauliflower yielded about 450 lbs. This is available at the farmstand both as single heads and in bulk. (10 plus lbs. $1.50 lb.). This flush of cauliflower bounty was after very little cauliflower through most of the fall. Sometimes cauliflower seems to be a bit moody in that it can be sitting in the field giving nothing and then one day there is lots all at once. We also picked about 100 lbs. of green beans yesterday. (I had covered the plants). Winter is coming- enjoy good local food now! Daniel
